What I put together for my wife was so out of character that she wasn’t sure if she wasn’t being punked. She literally just stood in the lobby with just perfect air conditioning and shook her head. To say my wife was surprised with my romance game is the understatement of the year. I’m good for maybe something cool that she wants for her birthday and Christmas. And I sort of show up for Valentine’s Day unless it falls on some intense college basketball rivalry. I’d give myself a 5.5 overall in the romance bracket. Admittedly, I do spend a lot of time sitting in the recliner sucking up all the HVAC cooling I can hold inside. When it came to me one day, inside the zone controlled HVAC of my office, I knew I was onto something. I made the reservations at this romantic inn up in the mountains that afternoon. And we were going to be gone for four days. My wife knew absolutely nothing about it with me going so far as to get the time off approval from her boss. So when I showed up to her offices with the zone controlled HVAC, she thought someone was in the hospital. Instead, I got to whisk her off to this amazing cuddle and feast fest. The inn was known for all the lovely amenities with spa and fine dining topping the list. The rooms were huge with these awesome wrap around balconies looking over this expansive view. And they came with a pair of ductless heat pumps that produced just the finest quality heating and air one could imagine.
