I do not mind cleaning. There is something genuinely rewarding about seeing the results. The floors might be dirty, dark and dingy. When I am through with them, they look new. I worked for a commercial cleaning corporation for roughly 10 years before I chose to start a corporation of my own. I knew it was going to be pretty difficult in the start. I was blessed to find several commercial properties that were willing to take a risk on me. When I left the corporation where I was doing the work, the commercial properties came with me. So far, my business has been doing great. I have about a dozen commercial properties and I have a few residential customers that require cleaning services often. I met with the owner of another commercial property on Tuesday. The commercial property just so happens to be an office building with 30 spaces. The owner of the building needs to take care of the cleaning services, however each of the spaces are individually rented. I knew it was going to be a pretty major job if I won the bid. As soon as I found out that the job was mine, I put in an advertisement in the paper looking for numerous maids and cleaning assistants. I didn’t expect to grow so rapidly, however I can’t complain. There are a bunch of other people that never make it past the first year of business, however my cleaning business is doing rather well.
