This summer we are going to be turning our old junky garage into a living room.
My partner and I have been thinking about doing this for a long time now, but it’s been something that we have constantly put on the back burner. Both of us just have never had the money or the time to do it. I just feel that it’s been something that we have been dreaming of doing but we just have not ever gotten around to it yet. I guess that it’s something that I have always wanted to do, but life just gets in the way occasionally. I wish that we had done it a long time ago, but now I am finally cheerful that it might really be happening this year! The only thing that I am a bit worried about now is the fact that we are going to have to figure out what to do with the heating and A/C system. I am not sure that the heating and A/C unit is going to behave the same way once we put the several new walls in the garage, as there aren’t any walls in there right now. I guess that we are going to have to run some HVAC ducts around whenever we are working on the project and so I’m upset about what we are going to do. I don’t want to have to buy a new HVAC duct, if at all possible. Ductwork can turn out to be kind of difficult to run in a home, especially if you don’t know what you’re doing. And of course, we both don’t know what we’re doing! I feel that we may be looking at putting in something called a ductless mini split cooling system instead.
