Earlier this year in the spring when the weather started heating up, the cooling system fell apart in our house! I was so mad about it when it happened because I constantly feel as if things go wrong for me at the most inopportune times.
For instance, last fall, as soon as the weather started cooling down, the electric heating unit broke down in our house. I mean, what are the odds of that happening? I just feel as though the universe is completely against me occasionally because things don’t ever seem to go my way. Anyway, back in the spring of this year, I was so excited because I wanted to travel all summer long. I had a lot of money saved up and I had been planning on going on a large road trip on my own. I am someone who is constantly looking for an adventure and so the thoughts of going out on a road trip all on my own for the summer had really appealed to me. However, right when the weather started heating up outside, I found out that the cooling system in the loft was torn up and not working. On the afternoon that I went to turn it on for the first time, it made a disappointing clanking sound and then this poof of black smoke came through the cooling system vents in the floor upstairs! It was kind of disturbing, to tell you the truth. At first, I thought that our loft was on fire. But no, it was just our central cooling system saying bye bye and ruining my plans for the summer.
