I love my town, however there are few things that I really don’t like about it.
The one main thing that I don’t like is that public transportation is a mess. You have to wait so long to get on a bus, and even when you do finally get on the bus, it’s so overcrowded it’s ridiculous. One time, I was standing there at the bus stop with my hands full of grocery bags, patiently waiting for the bus and when it finally arrived, I could barely fit on board at all. I thought for a moment that I could probably just walk home and I would get there faster. When I finally got home, I realized that the heat was barely working at all. I contacted the public housing complex office and they said that they were aware of the problem, and they were working on it as quickly as possible. When the HVAC van finally arrived, I was hoping that they would be able to fix the problem within a few hours. I ran to the bathroom to run some hot water when I saw that the HVAC van had left for the evening, but unfortunately, the water was still cold. I was so frustrated I wanted to call back the office, but I knew that they weren’t there anymore because it was too late. I resigned myself to boiling water for a bath and then went to bed. The next day, The HVAC van never even showed up to continue working on the heating. I finally called the office back and they said that they were very sorry, but it turned out that the heating situation was a lot worse than they thought and it would take a few days to fix. In the meantime, they provided me with a voucher to stay at a motel.
