I was on my way to visit my boyfriend.
He lives about an hour away, and we make sure to drive to each other every week.
It has been difficult, since we both have jobs and busy lives, but we make sure to make time for each other. Lately, we have been making plans of moving in together, but I am not sure when that will be. As I was driving, I was craving a bit of candy, and so I decided to stop at a gas station. As I parked my car, I noticed the van next to mine was a HVAC van. I didn’t think that much of it and I went inside to grab a candy bar. The man in front of me I could tell was impatient, he was waiting on the cashier to finish talking on the phone. He had an energy drink, and his uniform told me he was a heating and cooling worker, probably the A/C van I parked next to. The poor A/C technician looked tired, and I imagined that it probably isn’t easy being a heating and A/C specialist. Finally, the cashier finished and I was able to leave. The air conditioning worker hopped into his cooling van and drove off. I took a minute to enjoy my candy bar, before continuing the drive myself. I am glad that I work from home, because I don’t think I would want to have a job that deals with driving to different homes for appointments.
