We are indeed living in some weird times.
- That shouldn’t be a shock to anyone living in this country or even on this globe.
I honestly thought we were better than this but it looks like I appear to be quite mistaken. Still, I try to lean into trust, ethic, compassion and respect. It’s tough at times. For sure, there are plenty of days when I just want to pull the covers over my head and not leave the central air conditioning of my home. Too often these days, I just either don’t feel all that safe to be kind and respectful. Or I just have no idea who to trust. I really didn’t’ see that one coming. These days, nobody trusts anyone and everything seems to be a conspiracy. The one thing I liked about working from the air conditioning of my house during the pandemic was the absence of chatter. I can’t believe the stuff people pass around the zone controlled HVAC of the office as fact. It’s crazy really and I just feel so off balance at times. But then, there are instances of behavior that I recognize where people are indeed acting in each other’s best interest. I saw this recently when I had a situation with my HVAC equipment. I came home from the zone controlled HVAC of the office to zero HVAC in my house. The thermostat had power but I got nothing from the heat pump. I hesitated a second but then I called the HVAC company. Heating and cooling equipment repair is not something I can go to the internet for answers. I had to trust these heating and cooling experts. And that trust paid off as they were awesome.
