HVAC change is breath of fresh air

I finally had to accept the fact that I just couldn’t stick my head in the sand any longer when it came to the indoor air quality of my home.

  • Actually, indoor air quality is a term that I learned from the HVAC professionals once I reached out to them for help.

My term for the problem in my home was stink. Yea, that’s pretty much the real breakdown of the situation. Walking into a home at the end of the day should come with that refreshing feeling of quality heating and air. But when I walked through the door, I was belted with a big stink. I hate to be so simplistic about it but that’s totally what the deal was. And of course, I tried to pretend that it wasn’t any big deal. I bought a few candles and lit them up. Indeed, those scented candles would sort of perfume the place up a bit. But as soon as the HVAC equipment cycled on, here came the stink. It got to the point where I was actually avoiding being at home because I didn’t want to deal with the smell. Seriously, I was choosing to stay late at the office inside the commercial HVAC as opposed to going home to the air conditioning at home. Well, the HVAC company set me straight and I learned about the glorious benefits of air purification. That’s why my house smells like a dang meadow these days. It took about a day for the whole home air purification system to irradicate the stink from my home. And now, I’m not staying late anymore.
