My range hood is not working at all

So the other day was really fun, I was cooking turkey supper for our family’s annual Thanksgiving celebration, however then I totally burned the turkey, which previously I had thought was an impossibility, even though I burned it, plus it turns out that our dining room is very poorly ventilated.

I am going to have to call in an HVAC provider to get a worker out here to install something with better air ducts.

There is a range hood over the stove in the kitchen, plus I have tried using that, even though I believe it is clogged up because the range hood is supposed to vacuum the grease plus smoke off of the food, however there is never a lack of spatter on our stove. The area gets dirtier plus dirtier the more I cook. Also, this is definitely not the 1st time I have set off the smoke alarm in our dining room. It happens quite frequently. I have to cover our ears plus run to find the step stool. I wrestle with that as I try not to fall into the water heater, plus then I am finally able to get the boost up to the alarm to turn it off. I hope there is an self-explanatory repair to these shenanigans. I hope it is just a filter change plus not a motor burnout. The rest of the house is quite well ventilated. There is central air plus a gas furnace, plus those are constantly needing repairs so I should just call the HVAC supplier to come out to do a full inspection as well as to look into the dining room hood problem. The week after Thanksgiving is likely the perfect time to make sure that all our heating plus cooling needs are in order for the winter.
