Adding a rational approach to a/c

This Summer is going to be different! Granted, I’ve said that before however this time, I’m particularly prepared to follow through with some control device discipline, however when you live where I do, the Summer is a immense dread.

I enjoy where I live however it does come with some outright scorching conditions that drag on for months.

I knew this when I moved here and honestly, it’s so worth it. The rest of the year is glorious when it comes to temperature and weather. Still, after five Summers, I was still spending far too much on cooling costs. And that’s for sure changing this year. Years prior, I did that loft prep to seal up the apartment tight. I’ve regularly been consistent about getting the a/c tune ups. And it’s absolutely rare that the shades aren’t pulled to mitigate direct sunlight heating. While all of that is textbook for saving on Heating, Ventilation, and A/C costs, I couldn’t stay committed to control device discipline, then finally, that’s not going to be the concern this year. That’s because I got logical about a/c finally. The hot and cold temperatures start to rise in March. And there are days when I would just flip on the a/c and leave it. While I thought that was sort of a normal thing to do, it was not allowing me to actemperature to the rising hot and cold temperatures. I realized this after talking with a associate who is a native of the region. So this Spring, I left the a/c off and am much more accustomed to higher temps and am leaving the control device where it is. So this Summer, I entirely am going to save on a/c costs.
