Somehow, there are multiple people in the world that willingly go without air conditioning, however some do it to save currency, others do it to save the planet, then whatever the reason is, I can’t imagine going without a heating and cooling unit, in my opinion, air conditioned lake house is a must. I will tell you, that I did go for a while without heating and air conditioner, and I was so angry! I had never had such difficulty sleeping and concentrating in my life! It is amazing all of the little things that both of us take for granted, until both of us lose them! The reason for the lack of air conditioning is because my dad had forgotten to take care of it, and it sat neglected for several years, and finally, while both of us were in one brutal summer, the air conditioning component couldn’t seem to handle it anymore and broke down, my dad continued to take his sweet time getting it repaired, and it entirely wasn’t repaired until a few weeks later. When it finally was repaired, I was legitimately just getting used to the blazing heat, and when I did finally recognize the cooling air, I was so relieved, and thankfully after that both of us didn’t have any kind of HVAC issue til several years down the road, and even then, I was close to moving out and didn’t have to deal with it, but now in my own home, I make sure that the central cooling is consistently officially worked on every single year, in addition to frequently changing out the HEPA air filter. I have yet to have an issue, and I have great indoor air conditions.
