When all of us had our up-to-date Heating as well as Air Conditioning plan installed, the plan called for a Smart Thermostat to be installed.
I must have said it to the Heating as well as Air Conditioning tech half a dozen times as well as yet when he left, I didn’t have a Smart Thermostat in the house.
He put up a programmable temperature control which was better than what I had before but not the smart thermostat that was in the plan. I called the Heating as well as Air Conditioning supplier in a bit of snit about the charge for a Smart Thermostat when I didn’t get the smart thermostat I had ordered. The guy told myself and others to slow down as well as tell him all the details. I went through the whole narrative about wanting a single temperature control, not getting the smart thermostat that was in the plan, however paying for the more luxurious temperature control. I wasn’t sure why this guy was being purposely annoying, so yes I was bordering on getting nasty with him. The HVAC customer service guy repeated everything I said and started asking me ridiculous questions. I was now getting really downright mad as well as I asked if there was someone there who wasn’t an idiot. The guy just didn’t seem to be understanding a simple concept. I was wondering if he wasn’t a bit deaf so when I answered his stupid inquiries, I raised our voice. That’s when he told myself and others there was no need to shout and he would hang up if I continued to abuse him. I asked him if there was something he could do to get this whole smart thermostat catastrophe straightened out for myself and he simply said, “No.” I was furious, but I simply asked him why not. To this he responded that I had a wrong number. I was so embarrassed, but he was cracking up like a laughing hyena.
