Customers become miserable when I show up late for appointments

I’m an Heating and A/C specialist and I easily appreciate what I do, and it’s great being able to meet people from all bizarre walks of life, and the job is fulfilling because I help people out for a residing! The money is great and I know I have excellent job security because our services will constantly be in demand.

It’s not constantly a bed of roses though, there are plenty of stressful situations; Occasionally I will become somewhat stressed by the customers that I am dealing with. This last client I went to see really caused me to be delayed for all of our appointments for the day. I was talking to the client on the iphone about the issue going on with his Heating and A/C system; He kept asking me a ton of questions about the cost to have it fixed and everything, however I kept telling him that I had to inspect the system to see what was going on. I couldn’t just tell him what it was going to cost to have everything fixed without knowing exactly what the problem was yet. I tried to explain that to him, but he kept going on about what the Heating and A/C system was doing and how high-priced his energy bills were becoming. I was thrilled when I finally got to the house, but the client still kept bombarding me with questions. I didn’t mind, but it was making it strenuous to do our work. I was able to service the issue without too much hassle and the client commanded a payment system which I was able to set up for him, then regrettably, I was an second late to the rest of our appointments and a lot of people were miserable about it.
