One of the nicest blessings about moving to the country from the city is the fantastic air quality. Seriously, back when we lived in the city, the air quality was regularly bad. I don’t ever recall seeing that the air quality was actually good and you can actually feel it everytime you breathe while walking down the street in the city. Out here in the country though, you can walk around, go biking, whatever, and the air quality is fantastic. You feel like you can be outside all day with perfectly healthy lungs. When we stayed in the city, we had to use a powerful air purification system regularly just to keep up with good air quality in our home. Now in the country, we don’t actually need an air purifier for certain. I mean we still use a UV air purifier because it helps kill harmful pathogens and keeps the air quality as good as can be, but it’s not absolutely necessary. When we want to have awesome air quality, we can easily open the windows on a nice day and let all that nice air quality from outside into the home. Of course, you should always be thinking about the humidity levels as well. Sometimes we get a lot of rain and then you might let all that excess humidity into your home. This is why it’s also smart to have a powerful dehumidifier that works for the whole house. I find that we can save a good amount of money when we’re not always relying on our air conditioner and just using a dehumidifier with the windows open on the nicer days.
