Finally, we’re talking about gendered temperature differences

For about 10 years I have been fairly convinced that boys and ladies operate at weird body un-even temperatures.

I have had so more than 2 experiences where I have been freezing freezing and my male counterpart has been burning up at the same time.

It does not matter if we are inside or outside, the end result is my body being covered in goosebumps while my male friends fan themselves desperately for cool air. I am thrilled that people have finally come to the realization that this is a true biological phenomenon. Men inherently run at a warmer body temperature than a lot of ladies. With knowledge comes power, and I hope that power translates to more democratic control device settings in public places. For as long as I can remember, I have been brutally freezing at my task. I have never worked in a place where the control device felt appreciate it was appropriately set based on my temperature preferences. I am regularly stuck in an office with overhead air vents blasting brutally freezing and dry air conditioned air down my neck all day, but even when I wear sweatshirts and jackets, I shiver in my seat all day long. When I have consulted my numerous coworkers the boys have regularly stated that the air temperature could not be low enough for them. Since my previous bosses have regularly been men, they have been in charge of determining the central control device settings. This means, I get stuck with their arctic air temperature preferences and nobody listens to the quiet girl in the corner wrapped in a blanket, then now that the conversation has finally shifted and the people I was with and I assume our gendered temperature differences, I have to hope that ladies get a larger say in control device programming across the world.
