I graduated from heating and air conditioning school about a year ago.
- Today I am working as a certified heating and air conditioning specialist for one of our local heating and cooling companies here in town.
However when I first got out of heating and air conditioning school it was damn near impossible to get a job! Most of the heating and air conditioning companies flat out refused to hire someone fresh out of heating and air conditioning school that has had no experience in the heating and air conditioning world. How on earth is someone supposed to get experience if no one will hire you! That was the main question I kept asking. And of course they could give me no answer. It was not until almost 6 months later when this one local heating and air conditioning company was specifically looking to hire new and fresh upcoming heating and air conditioning specialists to give them the experience. The reason for this was really because they desperately needed help, but whatever, I really didn’t care because it was a job and a kick start to my career in the heating and air conditioning business! I was off to a great start and felt like I had been doing it for years once I was actually on my second heating and air conditioning repair job. I still am working at that heating and air conditioning company today. That is how good they actually are and they are talking about giving me a raise sometime soon as well. I can’t complain really. But it was tough to get here!
