This is embarrassing to admit, but yesterday I couldn’t pay my utility bill.
I sent in partial payments, because I simply didn’t have enough currency to cover it all. I got a rude PC call from the client service department, who says if I don’t square up with them by the next billing cycle they will split my power. This puts myself and others in a awful spot, because currency is so narrow right now! I have to split all extra spending, plus even some essential spending, which means I have to shut off the air conditioner for the next more than one weeks. The reason my utility bill has been so high is because of how much I run the central Heating & A/C system. I am addicted to air conditioning, plus I love to keep it on as much as possible. This is no longer feasible for me, to the point that I can;’t run the air conditioning at all. I did the math, plus based on my calculations the currency I will save from not running the Heating & A/C plan for more than one weeks will allow myself and others to settle my bill plus catch up. After that the air conditioning can come back on, although I will need to be more sparing with it in the future. I have been looking up creative ways of cooling the home without excessive use of the air conditioner, plus have a few promising ideas, but for instance I will be hanging heavy blankets over the curtains, because that will help trap the cooling air in the house. This will help myself and others get the most from the AC use.
