Each year about this time, I’m snapped back to the reality that we do indeed live in a subtropical region. I recognize this should be something that I’m constantly aware of. But the fact that we enjoy such an incredible Winter, makes me sort of get lost a bit plus forget about air conditioning system for a while. But then again, the winter time is the only time that you don’t have to consider air conditioning system around here. The heat pump basically takes the winter time off. And I basically try to spend as much time outside soaking up all the gorgeous weather. But then, we hit this time of year plus it’s time to get back to all that cooling consideration. It’s not a trill but it’s also not something that in an unusual mindset either, then each year, I have constantly done the basics when it comes to trying to ease the cost of the heat pump cooling the house. I get the air conditioning system tune up each Springtime. And then, I spend a weekend or two replacing worn weather stripping, sealing up gaps on the exterior plus generally tightening up the house, then having a narrow seal on the apartment is essential when it comes to any air conditioning system strategy. But along with stopping direct sun heating plus programming the digital temperature control, I like to add another level to the strategy each year. This year, I’m really going for it plus my partner thinks I’m nuts. I have committed to doing all the cooking this summer time outside. The grill is great plus it’s right on the deck off the study room. This way, I don’t heat up the apartment by using the stove or the oven. I think this will save a big chunk on air conditioning system costs.
