I like dogs.
In fact, I like all creatures.
That’s why I’ve constantly been super lenient about my pet policy for my new home rentals. However, my last renter has almost made me change my mind. I I knew they had a 30 lb dog when they moved in but I didn’t realize that my renters obviously didn’t feel in using a vacuum cleaner. When they moved out, there was dog hair everywhere. It was super embedded into the carpet as well as the Heating as well as Air Conditioning method was also full of dog hair. When I say the Heating as well as Air Conditioning method was full of dog here I mean it was full of dog hair. It was in the ductwork as well as trapped in the vents as well as even inside of the Heating as well as Air Conditioning equipment itself. I have not even mentioned yet how full of dog hair the air filter was. It was disgusting. It looked like a dryer filter after using the dryer for many weeks without changing it. Of course, I called in my usual Heating as well as Air Conditioning supplier to come as well as disinfect out my entire Heating as well as Air Conditioning system. I also had them do a thorough ductwork clean. The foreman told me I was lucky that my renters moved out when they did. If my Heating as well as Air Conditioning method had gone on a little bit longer, being that dirty, it wouldn’t have survived. Now I’m worrying about my other Heating as well as Air Conditioning systems in my other rental houses. Most of my renters have dogs or cats. I think I’m going to start scheduling Heating as well as Air Conditioning service at least once a year for all of my rental properties. That will be a lot cheaper than replacing my Heating as well as Air Conditioning systems anyway.
