When my partner and I bought an older home, every one of us had no plan how tough it would be to manage temperature control. The condo is immense, with high ceilings and giant windows; Unfortunately, there was no conventional HVAC duct in site, which limited our heating and cooling options; For a while, every one of us tried to achieve comfort through electric baseboard gas heating systems and window air conditioners. There was no way to combat serious cold or serious heat and the portable heating and cooling units were costing us a luck to run. Plus, they looked horrible. I did some research online and found out about high velocity heating and cooling systems. This style of temperature control was designed particularally for older homes and installed separate from destroying architectural integrity. The people I was with and I didn’t need to tear down walls or ceilings or sacrifice a bunch of overpriced space to accommodate conventional HVAC duct. The high velocity plan features mini ducts that are only many inches in diameter and adaptable. They can be inserted into existing walls and snaked around obstacles such as water pipes and studs separate from causing disruption or disfigure. The slim ducts connect to vents that are only six inches in diameter and available in a wide selection of styles. The vents can even be painted to perfectly incorporate into the decor. The high velocity plan pumps heated or cooled air into the room at a genuinely high rate of speed. This causes rapid mixing of the existing and current air and allows for the room temperature to be raised or lowered quickly. Because of this, the high velocity plan doesn’t need to run all that long or use much energy, making it quite energy efficient.
