It’s going to be a warm summer. That’s no new bulletin where I’m from. But the fact is that I won’t be inside the air conditioner of my beach house much this summer. Between multiple dealer related road trips and some long overdue holiday time, I’ll be on the road this summer. That doesn’t exactly hurt my feelings. I appreciate this region and appreciate living here. But I’m looking forward to avoiding a lot of the extreme heat and humidity all of us get in the summer. Sure, it’s going to be warm in other parts of where I’m traveling. And going down the highway comes with a honorableshare of the HVAC cooling being on full blast. Actually, the air conditioner in my car is so intense that I can barely handle it on half way. But sandwiched in between my visits to customers for planned upgrades that have to be done onsite, I have some time in the cool weather. I planned my trip so I could labor my way through some higher elevations where the need for air conditioner just isn’t that crucial. I’m taking all of my camping gear with myself and others to take full luck of multiple breaks in my schedule where I’ll have at least 4 afternoons in a row. While a lot of the summer time will be spent laboring, I think getting out of the air conditioner for camping in cooler climates all summer time has a superb ring to it. And when I’m laboring, I think just where I can stay to get the sort of quality heating and air that I will want. The interstate hotels seem to have the best HVAC equipment and they sure do fit my budget a lot better.
