I am officially done with Winter as I have come to think it.
The months upon months of dealing with high temps that never reach above frosty are over.
The shovels, snow plows in addition to ice melt are also a thing of the past. I’m not even going to sell them. I think I’ll deliver all that stuff to the young couple down the street. They are just starting out in addition to could use them. But, where I’m going, I don’t even need a furnace anymore. I can hardly guess it. Both of us have raised our family, completed our career objectives in addition to are ready to move on. Retirement down south awaits. I am no longer going to have to worry about whether the furnace will make it through the ugliest part of Winter without a breakdown. I won’t even have a furnace where I’m residing next. In fact, the Heating in addition to A/C plan the two of us will be relying on does all of the heating in addition to the cooling. Of course, I am talking about the heat pump. It is such a flexible machine. The temps in our current community are super scorching for about 3 months during the summer. The heat pump will do a super efficient task of cooling the house during that stretch. However, the other 9 months, the weather in addition to the temps are glorious. There is still a bit of a Winter the two of us will still encounter. I think I can handle the occasional low in the upper 30’s. I’m told the heat pump does an amazing task of warming a condo during the Winter down south. I can’t imagine I will need it all that much. But, I sure am cheerful to trade the furnace for it.
