Ever since I was a little girl, I had been going to yoga classes with my mom.
When I got married, the first thing my husband and I did was buy a house. He asked what I wanted when he got a house, and I told him I wanted a sunroom or an enclosed patio with a lot of windows. I wanted to put my yoga studio in that room and start my own classes. I was already a certified yoga instructor and had been since I was sixteen. We found the perfect house with the perfect area for a yoga studio and bought it. The only problem I found with my new yoga studio was that it needed HVAC to be comfortable. I knew some instructors didn’t believe in air conditioning, but I did. I also didn’t want a goat crapping on me while I was exercising. My husband called the HVAC company and asked if they could extend the HVAC to include the yoga studio. The young man looked at the entire area and said he couldn’t see how we could get enough HVAC into that room because it was so far away from the HVAC equipment. As he looked at the room, he pressed on one area and smiled. He had found there was an HVAC vent in the room. Someone had stuffed it with newspaper and closed it off. It took little effort to clear out the air vent, so I had HVAC in my yoga studio. My husband was glad we didn’t need to spend a lot of money, and I was glad I could open my yoga studio.
