Short of paying a lot of money to replace the fan and its motor, I’m trying to get by without the repairs
I don’t know what it is with me and sleeping, but ever since my wife left me, I have struggled with insomnia. My friends tell me to take a supplement like melatonin or valerian root, but I’m worried that I’ll be stuck taking them to sleep every night for the long term future. I know that one aspect of getting healthy sleep is keeping good physical health in the process. This means eating the right foods and getting exercise on a regular basis. I feel like the COVID pandemic has put me into a sedentary life that I wasn’t used to in the past. Hoping to improve my health once and for all, I took a trip to a bicycle store down the road from my house. I bought a beautiful road bike so I can lose weight and get healthier overall. But more importantly, I’m hoping that evening bike rides will get me exhausted enough before bed where I’ll be able to fall asleep easily. This was working a long time until my air conditioner started getting noisier. I called my heating and cooling technician and had him inspect the system. He said that everything seemed fine, and perhaps the noise was from the fan assembly aging over years of daily use. Short of paying a lot of money to replace the fan and its motor, I’m trying to get by without the repairs. Unfortunately, the additional noise from the air conditioner is giving me issues with insomnia once again. And that is regardless of whether or not I take a long bike ride every night before bed.
