Relocating for work always feels like jumping into the deep end of a swimming pool.
Or does that just happen to me? About three years ago, I wasn’t sure what would become of my life.
I lost my job during the pandemic and I was panicking. My folks said I should move back home, and first wait out the whole situation. I did protest, but it turned out to be the best thing to do. While at home bored out of my mind, I took a few online courses, and also did some freelance work. That’s when I came across a company hiring from up north. I didn’t have any faith they’d hire me, but there was nothing to lose. Months went by with no word, then I got an email in 2021. They wanted a zoom interview which I passed and the rest is history. I now live up north in a lovely house, and I had to get the heating sorted out when I moved in. I have never felt cold like that so I needed a better heating system. I was scrolling on social media when I came across a heating and cooling business on Twitter. They were advertising their services, and I contacted them about boosting my heating. A HVAC professional came by the following day and did furnace maintenance. He explained this was one of the best ways to ensure you have excellent heating in your home during winter. We also talked about the cooling unit and spring maintenance. Since then, that’s the only company I hire to check on my heating and cooling systems.
