When you become so busy with work that you forget you have delicious food in the freezer, you know it’s getting bad.
I typically can’t make a quart of ice cream last longer than a week, but I’ve got a box of rocky road in my freezer from over two months ago. There’s absolutely no motivation to snack on treats, to go out and have fun, or to watch anything on TV that I enjoy. More often than not I’m taking my work home with me to avoid longer hours in the office the following day. I hate that I forget to mow my lawn, but at least I hired a landscaping company to take care of that when I can’t. Despite this, I never thought I would become so lackadaisical with my cleaning around the house. But I could only take so much of this after I started sneezing uncontrollably because I kicked up dust from behind my couch while looking for the remote. These are places in my house that I haven’t cleaned in over a year and it all looked horrible. I figured hiring a cleaning company would solve my problems, but they simply swept the dust and dirt into my baseboard vents for the central heating system. I noticed that my furnace filter was extremely dirty right after they left that day, and then I found all of the crud inside my vent once I removed the cover. Needless to say I did not hire that cleaner again and I made sure to leave a negative review on the internet. It took me over an hour to clean all of that dust, dirt, and lint out of my furnace vent. I hope I don’t need ductwork cleaning if enough of it got all the way to my furnace filter. This is beyond frustrating.
