I finally purchased an air conditioner for my house! It always shocks me that houses don’t come with air conditioners already. Some houses have central air conditioners, but most houses have only a heating system. This means that if you haven’t already saved the money for an air conditioner, then you either have to use some of your budgeted money for the house or you have to live without an air conditioner. Since I live in a pretty mild climate, it wasn’t exactly necessary for me to have an air conditioner right away. We have pretty chilly summers, and if it ever gets hot, I am able to manage with the heat. However, I finally saved up enough money to purchase one window air conditioner. As soon as I purchased the air conditioner, I brought it home and installed it. I decided to put the air conditioner in my room since I spend most of my time in my room. I have my desk and work station in my room, and I also think that the air conditioner will help me to sleep better at night. Now that I have purchased one air conditioner, I am concerned that I am going to want another air conditioner for my living room. However, my intention for purchasing this air conditioner was to hold me off until I was able to afford a central air conditioner for my house. That is the end goal, and I think this window air conditioner will do the trick until then. I honestly can’t wait until I get a central air conditioner.
