I’ve been thinking about it for a while now, and I have pretty much decided that I want to go back to school at one of our local career centers that offers heating and air conditioning certification classes.
I’ve been looking for a place that offers HVAC certification classes for a while now, and the other day I found an ad from a technical school that’s not too far away from where I live.
The technical school’s ad mentioned how they are starting up a new session of HVAC certification classes and how they were offering discounted rates for first time students. I took that as a sign from the universe that I’m supposed to go and get my HVAC certification done at the technical school. I called and signed up for the heating and cooling classes and now I’m just waiting for the HVAC sessions to start up. In the meantime while I’m waiting for the classes to begin, I’m doing all of the research online that I can so I can get a jump start on learning about oil furnaces, gas furnaces, heat pumps, central air conditioning systems, air purification systems, and radiant heated flooring. I like the whole idea of radiant heated flooring heating systems and I hope that they will teach us about those in the basic HVAC classes. If they don’t, maybe I will go ahead and sign up for advanced heating and cooling techniques after I get my first HVAC certification. I’m really glad that they are offering HVAC classes at our local career center. I know that having somewhere local to attend classes will really help me to advance my career as an HVAC technician.
