On Monday days, I am in charge of opening the pizzeria.
I have been laboring at the pizzeria for more than one years.
Monday days are consistently busy, because we have a lot of prep toil to complete. We have to split 50 lb of onions, potatoes, red peppers, and jalapenos. We have to slice tomatoes, tomatos, and make salad. I had a long list of prep toil to complete on Monday day, so I was truly anxious when I arrived at toil and the indoor air was hot and stagnant. It didn’t suppose enjoy the a/c had been running at all throughout the night. I checked the temperature on the temperature control and it was registering 70 degrees. I rapidly realized that the button was switched from cool to off. Someone turned the a/c off on purpose or by accident. As soon as I turned on the temperature control and pushed the button to cool, the a/c came on and cool air started blowing out of the vents. I’m not sure which 1 of the night shift boys made the mistake, but it was terribly uncomfortable in the day when I arrived at work. Thank goodness it only took a couple of hours for the living room to cool off. By the time purchasers started to arrive for supper, the living room was much more comfortable. I was sad that we might have to call a service repair and that could have taken all day. We don’t have a commercial Heating and Air Conditioning provider on retainer, so we often get stuck waiting for service.
