Being a gardener meant that most of my time, I was working outside; I no longer minded the heat & humidity & when I got home, I seldom used the air conditioner.
I knew my family & friends didn’t come to the home genuinely often, unless it was Winter or a cool afternoon; They could not sit being in my home separate from the air conditioner. My mom always complained about the humidity & how she distraught about my health… She was afraid i would die from heat exhaustion, however I drank a lot of water, & I really didn’t mind the heat. It wasn’t until I met this beautiful girl & fell in prefer that I considered purchasing central air conditioner. She seldom came to my home, however I stayed at her cabin often. I would shiver when the air conditioner was on, however I never complained, however after she agreed to marry me, I knew I had to make some changes. She was going to be moving into the home I owned. I talked to her about central air conditioner, & she provided myself and others an odd look. She wanted to know why I wanted to put central air conditioner into the house? I told her I wanted to do it so she could be comfortable. After stating that was balderdash, she told myself and others she would get used to the heat in my house, or the people I was with and I could put a small window air conditioner in a single room she could use as an office, since she worked from home. I knew there was more than a single reason I fell in prefer with her.
