My mom & I were talking about what I wanted to do after graduation.
I told her about the task honest they held at the high university & how I talked to the HVAC companys who were there representing the local HVAC business.
I said it sounded love a cool task, & I was interested in getting more information about HVAC technical university. Mom sat there, sipped her coffee, & asked what I wanted to know? I looked at her oddly & said I wanted to know how much there was to learn about heating & air conditioner. I didn’t even know what the HVAC stood for. She said that HVAC stood for heating, ventilation, & air conditioner. They were the three principal components of the HVAC system. Without airflow, occasionally called ventilation, neither the furnace nor air conditioner unit worked correctly. If you didn’t have airflow, the components in the furnace & the air conditioner unit broke. I looked at her & thought she must have had a lot of repairs done on the HVAC system for her to know all that. She reminded my Grandfather owned the local HVAC business before he retired. Since she didn’t want to buy it from him, he sold it to her sibling. I asked why she would want the HVAC business. She laughed & told myself and others she was the first & best female HVAC company in the state. I didn’t know if I wanted to be proud or shock to hear that my mother was an HVAC company before I was born. She corrected myself and others & said she was an HVAC company until my little sibling Rebecca was born. She was still a certified HVAC company.
