I don’t know what came over me last night, but I was so tired of the loud noise in my window AC unit that I deliberately tried to break it and it worked.
I sprayed hairspray right into the air fins where the cool air came out. I heard a weird noise and then smoke came out of the AC unit. I didn’t realize hairspray was highly flammable and it didn’t mesh with electronics. I was so worried that I ran downstairs to tell mom that I had broken my air conditioning unit. She wanted to know what happened. I told her about the noise and how I was unable to get my school work done. I was too badly distracted by the noise of the AC unit. The closest thing I could find was my hairspray. Once I finished the story, she told me I had to tell my dad when he got home the next day, and plead with him to buy her a new one. I knew I wasn’t sure if I would be able to tell him what I did, because he would be so upset with me. I’m sure he was going to be really upset and I was never going to get a new air conditioning unit now. When dad got home the next day, she told him about the air conditioner. I thought it was mean that she took over and told him when she told me to. I wasn’t so upset when I overheard her tell him the aC unit was sounding pretty bad, and she thought they should buy me a new one without making any fuss. It could be difficult, but I think I can fix it.
