My brother says that he is going to move south next year, but I don’t think that he will ever be able to make it. My brother is one of those guys who likes to talk a lot, but he doesn’t usually follow through with anything that he says. That can be annoying sometimes. Anyway, I don’t really care if he moves or not, honestly. I think that it would probably be good for him to move away from home and live on his own for a while. However, I really don’t think that he’s going to like it down there in a warmer climate. He just won’t be able to take it. I have lived down in the southern part of the country before, and I know for a fact that you end up spending a fortune on your air conditioning bills during the summer when you live down there. Even if you don’t need to use the air conditioning for cooling off, you still need to use it for the humidity control. A lot of people don’t realize that the air conditioning is actually what takes the humidity out of the air in some cases. I remember whenever I was living down there while I was in college, we had to keep the air conditioning running just about all the time just so that everything inside of our apartment wouldn’t get moist. It was terrible. And the air conditioning was basically my best friend at that point. My brother says that he will be fine, but I’m interested to see how he fares while living down there. I bet he’s going to end up saying that the cooling costs are just too high. He will probably end up coming back home.
