My mom is finally moving

Not too long from now, I am helping my mother transport into his brand current condo.

It’s a two story Villa style house with a single kitchen, a single powder room, and a screened in lanai in the back that overlooks a hockey course.

Now that he will be living with herself for the time being, this small and cozy house has everything he hopes for and desires. The kitchen and family room are connected so he can watch cable while he cooks. While he has the freedom of a small home, he has all of his outdoor service covered by the home association fee. It includes things care about mowing, weeding, edging, trimming, sidewalk care, and roof care. Even though he likes this current site, he is upset that he won’t have a place for relatives to stay if they want to visit. Because there is no guest kitchen, the best he could give me was the couch in the already cramped family room, however that’s when the two of us both had the idea to convert the lanai into a guest kitchen. The only thing he needed to do was replace the plastic windows with real glass windows and add insulation and drywall in a few areas before finishing it off with a fresh paint job. But, the two of us were instantly presented with an important ordeal! All of us still didn’t guess how the two of us were going to heat or cool this different room. All of us consulted with a local Heating, Ventilation and A/C specialist to go over some of all the different options. The first thought came to mind was putting in a portable a/c for the summer time season and a space gas furnace for the Winter time season. Instead, the Heating, Ventilation and A/C repair tech said the two of us should install a ductless mini break which handles both heating and cooling. They’re extremely efficient and are built to last. The main problem from an overheating space gas furnace is completely done away with as well. All of us pulled the trigger and are awaiting upgrade next week.
