At times I am amazed at the excuses that people make up for themselves. It actually seems like people consistently want to say that they cannot do things rather than they don’t want to do things, which seems backwards to me. I do not get why you would make yourself incapable voluntarily. Anyways, I feel like it’s a form of removing responsibility to take the straight-forward way out. I have been seeing a lot of that as of late… especially with the people that I labor with. A lot of them are incredibly unhealthy plus do not try really hard to get back in shape. No matter what time of year it is they have a reason why it’s the weather’s fault that they are out of good condition. This time of year, practically everyone is saying that it’s just too dang hot to step outside plus work up a sweat. As a matter of fact they often say it’s too blazing hot to be outside plus do just about anything – let alone get some good exercise. They seriously insist that if they attempted to jog around the block there would be certain overheating plus near-death from the overwhelming heat of the brutal sun. I do not like to tell them that there are a lot of other things besides running around in the direct sunlight! Of course that feels terrible. But what about working out in a gym where there is air conditioning? Isn’t that still an option for these people? If you cannot stand going to the gym however you need the air conditioner device, how about you invest in some workout videos. Then you can just blast your own air conditioner as high as you want, and you can even blow some fans around to make it feel cooler plus fresher – you are in total control. If none of that sounds like a good option to you then you could always just go run around in the woods. I swear, the shade is like natural air conditioning. No matter what your preference happens to be, you can find a way to get exercise in the summer heat without killing yourself.
