Redoing air duct after duct sealing failed

We purchased a fixer-upper, which the previous owners told us needed repair for most things, however my buddy and I didn’t need to worry about the heater.

So my buddy and I did every other renovation plus update, knowing that my buddy and I didn’t have any heating repair, just some minor heating maintenance plus air duct cleaning.

My friend and I did as planned until my buddy and I got to the part where my buddy and I needed the heating corporation to send us one of their home services Heating and A/C techs for a brief consultation plus inspection of the heating device. I had never wished for a heat pump or any other ductless occasion in the heating industry like I did when the Heating and A/C serviceman told us that the duct sealing on the heating technology was poorly done and, in some parts, too harmd. The previous owner had done the sealing using respected duct tape, loosely holding the ducts hiding extensive harms. My friend and I needed to update the ducts entirely. My friend and I were only fortunate that my buddy and I had an emergency fund that had been untouched when my buddy and I did the other updates plus renovation works; otherwise, my buddy and I would not have afforded the repairs plus fluctuations that needed to be done. In the middle of the heating drama, my buddy and I visited the Heating and A/C business, where my buddy and I saw smart control units, which were much more efficient than the digital control machine the home had, our emergency budget let us splurge a little on the control unit, saving us from some future repair work. My friend and I learned the difficult way, plus should my buddy and I ever find ourselves buying another fixer-upper, I’m not taking anyone’s word that everything is okay plus operational. I will add everything to the budget. I would rather my buddy and I have extra currency to toil with afterward.
