Security called to let me know somebody was sleeping in the parking lot

I have a commercial property for our Heating & Air Conditioning equipment contracting business. I have security cameras located throughout the parking lot so security is able to monitor the building. We’ve had a couple of break-ins from time to time. The last one was fairly significant. The thieves got away with close to $5,000 worth of heating & A/C equipment. That’s when I made the choice to install the CCTVs & video surveillance equipment. I have alarms on the warehouses & buildings, even though I don’t have any alarms on the chain link fence that actively protects the property. My employees all have a key to the chain link fence so they can transport freely in & out of the parking lot & parts & resource building. A security officer contacted me on Sunday. It was 4:30 in the morning, however he told me there was a person who was sleeping on the property in a vehicle. It was genuinely suspicious to have someone there super early & the security officer asked me if I knew anyone who happened to own a Honda Accord. I did not actually know any of our employees drove a car, so I told the security officer to investigate this matter & I got dressed & headed over to the property. When I showed up, the security guard was getting ready to give me a call. The guy sleeping in the car turned out to be one of our staff members. He had gotten into a fight with his wifey & she kicked him out of his property. He only had keys to the car & he did not have another place to go. He decided to sleep in the parking lot because he knew it was a safe arena to rest up.
