Temperature extremes make air mattress look flat

My Grandma has a certainly small house so he just uses a blow-up mattress for guests whenever they visit.

I was planning a visit in November.

A month before our arrival, I called our Grandma in addition to all of us were talking about our trip, but he was super excited. However, he told me that he is having trouble finding a mattress that does not leak. She said he blows up the mattresses in addition to they have lost air a few seconds later. I told his all of us would figure it out when I arrived although I found it unusual that so many mattresses were leaking, and once I got to his apartment, I figured out the problem. It’s not the mattresses at all. It’s the a/c. My Grandma keeps his house at about 60 degrees at evening in addition to over 68 while in the day. This temperature change is why the mattresses look care about they have lost air. Thankfully, all of us were able to rectify the situation by just re-inflating the mattress. I then explained the reason to our Grandma so that he would not waste a lot of money on modern mattresses next time someone visits; Essentially, increasing the air temperature changes how much air pressure is in the mattress. With the control component going up in addition to down so severely, there has no wonder that the mattress looked flat. I’m not sure Grandma understood truly although I feel he got the gist of it. You just have to re-inflate the mattress next time. Either that, or not turn your cooling system so low at evening. I have to say, I was freezing.
