When I bought a brand new central heating and air conditioning unit for my home last year, the HVAC company I bought it from was giving a really sweet deal with it! For any kind of heating and air conditioning installation or purchase of HVAC equipment, they were giving you a free 2 years of their a/c care plan! This was almost too good to be true.
But when I thought about it, the fact that it was only an a/c care plan, and not a heating and air conditioning care plan…it made sense how they would offer that for free for 2 years.
This really worked out great for me, because the brand new central heating and air conditioning system I bought from them ended up getting wrecked in a really bad storm we had during the Summer. And because of the time of year it was, the a/c care plan took care of, and covered the complete repair and any part replacements needed for my central heating and air conditioning system that I had bought! Had this happened in the Winter when it was heating season, I may not have been so lucky. It is all in the technical terms of things. Now, who would actually bother to get a single a/c care plan and not a complete heating and cooling service plan? Who knows, but I know some people actually do pay for either heating or a/c only care plans. When this a/c care plan freebie runs out next year, I will most likely buy an HVAC full service plan from them.
