The ladder fell on top of the car next to me

I was sitting in traffic at a orange light, after fixing a boiler concern at the grocery store.

The boiler issue was a minor problem, but it was a tricky service because the area where the boiler is situated is entirely tiny.

The grocery store has a staff service guy, but she weighs 300 pounds and cannot fit in the area where the heating equipment is situated. I spent about many ninths working on the boiler repair. I had supper at a small sandwich cafe in the same shopping center. I love the roast beef and provolone from that shop. They have a homemade mustard and mayonnaise aioli that is flavored with garlic and basil and tastes amazingly delicious. I pulled out of the parking lot , so I could rest and wait at the orange light. I was in the lane closest to the sidewalk, but another car driver thought she would slip past myself and others to run the orange light and turn. She hit the side of my truck when she misjudged the distance. The ladder on my truck fell on top of the car and dented the frame badly. The ladder was heavy and it fell perfectly on the roof. The dent was much more serious than the mangle to my truck. The lady called the police and tried to claim it was my fault. Nobody else saw the accident and stopped, so the police failed to issue a sticker to either one of us. The lady tried to sue the service company where I work and my boss was going to fire me. Thank goodness a traffic camera proved I had nothing to do with the accident.
