If I have the air conditioning system on, they will believe it’s warm outdoors
When I get up first thing in the morning, the initial thing I usually do is brew some coffee. Then I go to the thermostat and adjust the temperature control settings to a good temperature. I then take a quick bath so that I can get started with our day. When I get our first cup of joe, I usually turn on the news so I can see what’s going on and what the climate will be like outside for the day. This is pressing so I know what our kids should be wearing to school. I wake up our kids, if they aren’t up on their own which they usually aren’t. They usually complain and moan a little before they finally get up, but then they get dressed and ready for class; After the news, I will let them watch their morning shows until it’s time to go out to the bus. I will tell them if they need to wear a coat if it’s nippy outside or if it’s too warm to wear something cool, and oftentimes they can tell already though because of our decision for the temperature control settings. If I have the air conditioning system on, they will believe it’s warm outdoors. If I have the furnace on, they will know it’s likely very cold outside. It’s not easy being a single parent, but at least I am able to work from my own house so I don’t have to commute to a job. I just go to my office on the computer when they leave.
