That year marked the year that I did the most amount of DIYs, not even all the do-it-yourself projects I have done in all previous years combined could surpass the ones I did that year alone.
I had been laid off from work and I could not find another job.
I ended up getting an online job that required me to work for only four hours. During this period we ended up doing all the home maintenance ourselves and the HVAC unit was no exception. For the first time in a long time, I did not have the luxury of calling the air conditioning business for a simple thing such as replacing an air filter. YouTube became our best friend but even with it the most I could do when it came to air conditioning tune-up was clean the blower and change the filter, the rest required special tools which we did not have. I kept hoping that that would be enough to keep our quality air conditioner in good shape until we could afford an actual air conditioning expert to do the job. Since I did not hear any strange noises coming from the air conditioning install system and the air quality was okay I knew that the indoor air cleaning system was okay. During this period we did not order any new cooling products despite the heat that was on new highs. I learned so much about our central air conditioning and air conditioning repair than I would have if I had a session with a cooling tech. As much as I enjoyed doing the work, I could not wait to be able to call an air conditioning service provider so that a cooling workman could take care of it all.
