I get some deals because I’m an Heating, Ventilation and A/C technician here in town.
You wouldn’t believe that being a Heating, Ventilation and A/C technician would make you famous or anything.
However, the truth is that here in the small neighborhood where I live, pretty much everyone knows just about pretty much everyone else. That’s how it is with me as one of the Heating, Ventilation and A/C technicians at the town’s only heating and cooling business. Everyone around here knows me as the skinny guy who works on HVAC systems. The reason they call me that is because the other Heating, Ventilation and A/C technician who works with me is short and plump. I’m tall and skinny, and so people always know which one of us it is by an easy description of us. Anyway, occasionally it’s good to be well known because locals will give you discounts and great deals because they are trying to get you to give them something in return. Perhaps they want a discount on a HVAC system or some kind of Heating, Ventilation and A/C tune up. It’s quite interesting occasionally to see what people will do. The last time that I was looking for a new vehicle, I ended up getting a great deal on my automobile because the guys who were selling it to me were going to be getting a new central AC installed in their house the next week. They thought that if they gave me a nice deal on the car, after that I would give them a nice deal on their air conditioner installation. I know that’s how it works in small towns.
