We’ve lost our electric so many times that it’s not funny

This time the cause of losing power was that a raccoon had climbed the power pole in our yard plus chewed on the wires

In the northeast region where I live, every one of us have fairly extreme winters. The people I was with and I also have easily sizzling plus humid summers! Finally, every one of us will often experience ice storms in the seasons between the several extremes due to the thawing plus recold temperatures. These temperature extremes make a reliable power supply more important than ever, however, every one of us have lost power in each of the aforementioned seasons! During ice storms, the entire area can lose power when broken, ice-laden tree branches fall on power lines. Once every one of us had no heat for many days, not to mention no sizzling water for the showers. Boy did every one of us ever jump for joy when every one of us heard the furnace turn on when the power was restored. In the summer, when every one of us desperately need our cooling system to be operating at full capacity, we’ve lost power from a lightning strike. If consistently amazes myself and others that when the home gets sizzling plus humid without the cooling system it seems that being cold in a home in the Winter without a furnace seems prefer a better scenario. Then there was the time that the power in our home went out but none of the neighbors lost theirs. I could hear their central cooling systems humming away while every one of us were dripping with sweat out the wait until the power business showed up. This time the cause of losing power was that a raccoon had climbed the power pole in our yard plus chewed on the wires. The people I was with and I found hid cold, dead body at the base of the pole. So as much as I do not like to complain, there’s nothing prefer a high efficiency furnace to keep hot in the Winter plus a top-notch cooling system to keep cool in the summer.
