I added insulation to the attic plus caulked every gap in the exterior of the home that I could find
When I moved into my first home, I was just so happy to be a homeowner. After all those years of renting, it was so nice to know that I was unquestionably building some equity plus owned where I lived. However, this also came with a bit of a learning curve as well. There was a lot to learn. When the stuff like the heating, ventilation & A/C component needed service, it was up to me. And I made sure that this was one of the things that I addressed immediately. I had the heating, ventilation & A/C professional come out to do the heating service early so I knew that the gas furnace would be in fantastic shape for the winter. And that was a fantastic thing. I entirely didn’t want to have a heating, ventilation & A/C heating breakdown in the middle of my first Winter time in my own home. Still, I was sort of shocked at the heating bills that first winter. The heating, ventilation & A/C component was only 4 years old plus was in fantastic shape. Plus, I had the heating, ventilation & A/C serviceman do all the heating service. But what I didn’t know was that preparing the home for Winter time was just as pressing as preparing the gas furnace. So this year, I’m on top of getting the home sealed up narrow for the winter. I replaced a storm door along with all the weather stripping around every entrance. I added insulation to the attic plus caulked every gap in the exterior of the home that I could find. This Winter time will be a lot warmer in my home plus I won’t have to pay such high heating, ventilation & A/C heating utility costs either.
