While I was growing up, I never knew there were climate control systems that allowed for many rooms to be at strange un-even temperatures.
- I always assumed that someone needed to be in charge of the control device plus whatever they say goes for the whole house.
How I wished I could set the temperature for my dining room, even if it was only my dining room at night. I would set it to a breezy 64 degrees plus sleep in heavenly bliss! Alas, that was a dream that would have to wait until I got my own home. I even doubt that my parents would let me set the temperature in my room that low. They were honestly conscientious about saving money. Perhaps, they would have assented if they knew there was such a thing as zone-controlled Heating & Air Conditioning. When I discovered it was a thing, I immediately knew that that is the kind of climate control system I wanted in my own home. My parents taught me to be conscientious about saving money, plus I was honestly ecstatic that I did not have to cool or heat rooms that I hardly ever frequented within my home. It legitimately has saved me a chunk of change. The residing room, dining area, plus dining room are kept at a constant 69 degrees if I am home all day. At night, I set every room except for my dining room all the way up to 71 plus keep my dining room at a brisk 64 degrees. With zone controlled heating plus a/c, I get to be as comfortable as I want plus still save money!
